As a small business you have to make sure that you haven’t just completed your profile on the Facebook page, Twitter account, and Google+ profile page, but make sure you have pictures posted to your profile and not just your logo. People connect with face. And besides talking about business, why don’t you let people know what you like. Do you like rafting kayak or white river? Enter a description on one of your blog posts that tell people about your latest trips. And you have a blog right?

When other business owners see who you really are, they are more likely to not only reach you but to refer you to others too. We all know in the end, this is a small world out there, and how many times have you expressed something to a colleague or partner to find out later that your message is forwarded to your new client. And everything starts using social media for business networks.
